Camping fun

Wife and kiddos went hunting with me a few times. They loved camping and playing in the mountains. Keagan followed Tylita wherever she went. The love each other so much!

We drove up some road to the top of a peak. We had a beautiful view from up there.

Tylita and Keagan love playing with Ryker, sometimes a little too much.

Halloween

For my birthday, kiddos made me a cake. It was awesome! It had a fisherman and a hunter shooting a big buck. They had a lot of fun making the cake.
Mini-Mouse and Donald-Duck had fun trick or treating with Tigger. They got waaaay toooo much candy! But hey, now I have snacks to take for lunch.
Mommy was a mountain woman, and daddy was a deer.
This picture has nothing to do with Halloween, but I put it in because it's cute.
I'm not sure how we ended up with two blue eyed babies, but we sure love them! Ryker likes to fold his hands together like this, it looks like he's praying. He's a very cute little boy.

Ryker's blessing / Tylita's B-day weekend

It's always good to start with a little humor. Keagan apparently was having issues with his diaper. He didn't know what to do, so of course we had to get a picture.
Tylita and Addy showing that they played "Pin the crown on the princess."
Keagan hit the pinata about has hard as a fly hits a brick wall. But the pinata got him back...it swung back and hit him in the head.
The whole family in front of the sunflowers. Ryker is wearing his blessing outfit. He doesn't do much now besides eat, sleep and poop, but he'll be a good fisherman when gets older.
Hanging out with grandparents. Tylita is sporting her new Ariel dress that her grandparents bought her, she absolutely loves it! Tylita just said, "that's a pretty picture, and I'm the prettiest person in the picture!" I'm glad she has a good self-esteem.
Kiddos loved playing with their cousins.

Random Summer Pictures

 Train! Look a train!
 Whoa! Look at that fish!
 Frolicking in the grass
 More fishies

Daddy pulls the boat and the trailer, why can't Keagan pull a trailer?

We may have gone fishing a time or two....

What's a summer without fishing? Boring that's what. If you haven't gone fishing in a while, you're boring! Keagan and Tylita loved catching these little Rock Bass. It was great. This poor little fish was "caught" multiple times by Keagan....I just never took him off the hook. We caught him once, then cast him out again and again just to watch Keagan get excited about catching another fish.

Reel women fish! It makes them that much more attractive!

Here's our boat and the women folk at Lake Pactola in S.D.We camped on an island near the edge of the lake. Boat camping is a lot of fun, it's the best way to achieve solitude.

The last time they played with the ores Keagan fell in the water. He didn't lean so far over the edge of the boat this time. I guess he learned his lesson!

Rapid Summer

This summer has flown by!We were slackers and haven't posted yet. How do you sum up a summer in one post? Well we can't, so we'll try to sum it up in a few posts. All of these pictures were taken around Rapid City. As you can see we had a lot of fun hiking, camping, and playing at the parks. The buffalo were right off the side of the road in Custer State Park. My first thought upon seeing them was "wow there are a lot of steaks standing there"!

Any family resemblance?

 Tylita 2 days old
 Keagan 1 week old
Ryker 1 day old

We wanted to compare their baby pictures. They look a lot alike, especially their noses. Ryker has really dark hair, but the poor kid doesn't have Keagan's awesome eyebrows. Ok, so I am bragging, we make cute kids.

More cuteness

We got to take him home this afternoon. He's a very good baby, he sleeps most of the time.

Introducing: Ryker Bean Bond

Mommy and baby Ryker. They are both doing well. Ryker was born at 4:34 pm on 7-12-13. He weighed 7 lbs 10 oz, and was 20 1/2 inches tall.

Keagan loves his little brother! He wanted to hold the baby, as you can see he's really excited about the new addition. We'll see how excited he is, when he realizes that he has to share his toys. :)
The whole family! Not to brag, but we make cute kids!

Extended Vacation

Summer is so fun!  We feel like everyday is an adventure.  It seems like there are even less chores to do at home when we are outside so much!
These two have such fun together!  I must be doing something right when their friendship is blossoming so nicely.  Going to the park today I told Tylita there probably wouldn't be other kids there.  She said, "That's okay I will make a friend I already know.  That is Keagan."
This is how my kids measure up to the big raptors.
There is something about throwing rocks kids love.

There is something about fishing kids never grow out of.
There is a taste of summer in this family.  Hopefully next post will have a baby!
