Fun at the lake
We went fishing to Lake Hattie, the fishing was terrible, but the beach was fun!
Keagan still doesn't like the water, give him some time, he'll love it like his sister.
Tylita learned that a life jacket can hold you up in the water. She loved holding onto our hands while bobbing in the waves.
This is how to do a proper push up: back straight, up on your tippy toes, arms shoulder length apart. One, two, three...

Lake Powell 2
Lake Powell!!!
Yeah I know, our trip was a couple weeks ago and we're just now getting around to blogging about it. Our excuse is we've been having too much fun playing, no time to sit on the computer.
We took our boat down and met the old men (Grandpa Bond, the other Grandpa Bond, and uncle James). Weeks before the trip Tylita kept talking about taking daddy's boat to Lake Powell (I don't know who was more excited, me or her). The weather was nice and warm, a wonderful change from this cold wet spring. We fished every day and had tons of fun. Tylita used her new fishing pole and caught her first fish. It was a smallmouth bass, she loved it! She wanted to touch it, but refused to kiss it! Keagan didn't know what to think about fishing, he mostly just laid down on the floor and slept. He's a Bond boy, so he's destined to love fishing, give him a few more months and he'll get the hang of it.

Yay!
Keagan man loves his feet, they are his favorite toys. He loves to play with them, pull on them, and even try to eat them.
We saw these bachelors less than a mile from the cows, there were more but they ran over the hill before we could get the camera out. The one on the right is going to be a big bull. (I know where I'm going hunting this fall!)

Easter celebrations
A couple weeks ago it was snowing (surprise) and we wanted to go camping. So we decided to boycott the weather. We set up our tent in our living room, equipped with our air mattress and a sleeping bag for Tylita. Although she decided that the queen size air mattress was her bed and tried to commandeer it from us. Fortunately for us she went to her own bed (after much persuasion). We had fun, and we're excited for when/if it warms up so we can pitch our tent outside.

Happy Easter
So I asked Tylita who we are celebrating tomorrow and she says, "Jesus, and he talked to Joseph Smith" I was impressed, and asked, "What did he say?" She answers, "he showed him his hands!" What an awesome Easter Message. I am so grateful for my children. They are teaching me how simple the gospel of Jesus Christ is.

Adorable babies and race trucks
The other day Tylita and I made a some pie crust for our yummy berry pie. We had a little dough left over so Tylita made her own little peanut butter and M&M pie. She rolled out the dough, put it in the heart shaped pan and put the M&Ms in it. Tylita couldn't handle putting all of the M&Ms on her pie so few of them fell victim to her uncontrollable urge to eat chocolate. She ate most of the pie, Jenni was forced to eat the rest.
For Elders quorum we raced made pinewood derby rockets. We attached a C cylinder rocket engine to cars and raced them down a cable. One of the engineering nerds brought a radar gun to clock the cars. Although mine was knocked out in the first round with a mere 60 mph, I ran it after everything was over and it went 76 mph (faster than any other car raced that day). Tylita got to push the button to ignite the engine. She loved it! She loved watching the cars go "really fast" and she loved pushing the button. After we got home she kept talking about pushing the yellow button, and watching the cars go fast. She played with one of her own cars making it go vrooom vrooom! This is daddy's "little truck".
