General Conference
I just had to write about how blessed I feel as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. The first two sessions of General Conference were a spiritual feast. I am excited for tomorrow! I heard a few years ago that any question asked in the spirit of faith and prayer will be answered at any conference. That is because God answers prayers Brad and I are seeing this truth once again. Happy Feasting!!!

1/2 a year and more fun everyday!
Tylita is already half way through her first year. I can't believe how much she learns everyday and how observant she is. I am trying to remember to do sign language for her for certain key words and she watches everything my hands do.
She is quiet the little bulldozer. While laying on her back she rolls only to her left so we put her at one end of the room and toys scattered everywhere and she rolls from toy to toy leaving the others behind. Her favorite toys seem to be a frog (much to my delight), and her rubber blocks. Reaching for her blocks is what interested her in rolling over in the first place. She has been able to pick them up and turn them around in her hands for a couple of months now but they are still very interesting. Recently she has learned that while chewing on it she can squeak her gums on them, furthering the nickname Squeaker!
Dancing has become her trademark with me. Whether she is on the ground and movin' and groovin' her body back and forth or she is dancing in our arms she really likes to sway with the music (sometimes there isn't music going, but she is still rocking like there is) it is super cute. She has a rythum all her own that I hope she keeps.
Anyway how is that for an update! Hopefully there is more to come soon!

Apologies to all who care!
So Brad pointed out that I only have one baby and I hardly ever post as compared to my friends who have more children, including babies, who post often. I admit that I do in fact have time that I could sit down and post more often, but there are two reasons why I don't. #1 - Less time sitting at the computer the better. I check my email & take a gander at a few friends blogs and then I am done and I need to do something else. Occasionally I make myself look at the the banks websites, but that is pushing it. #2 - Writing was never my strong point. I don't care to sit down and write something other people will read because I know that it will not be written very well 95% of the time. I realize I like to read others because they write good and make it interesting. Rest assured I do contribute more to my journal, so as to not forget the important things. When I read back through entries I am sometimes embarrassed I was granted a Bachelor's Degree.
Brad said these reasons didn't matter and we made the blog so people who we would like to see more often would be able to be a part of what we are doing. Okay, so here it goes. Please try to understand what I am trying to say even if it is not clear. Most importantly please don't judge me on my writing skills my stomach is turning over even right now! I am going to post this and then make a new post for more interesting topics, like Tylita.
--A bit of clarification, previously Brad has done most of the blogging. He wasn't trying to compare me to my friends, he just wanted me to get in on the fun too.--

Who does she look like?

6 months
So when Tylita hit six months she made several drastic changes. She finally learned how to roll from back to front, (she has been rolling front to back for 3 months now). However, she only knows how to roll from her back to her left. So we put her at one end of the room and she rolls across the room until she gets stuck by a chair, table, or the the wall. At which point she calls for help, so we turn her around and she roll back across the room in the opposite direction. She's kind of like those vacuums that wander aimlessly around on the floor, only she doesn't have reverse.

Also at six months we introduced rice cereal to her. Something which she didn't take kindly too, she looked at us as if we betrayed her trust. How dare we feed her anything other than mommy! She's slowly realizing that other food exists other than mommy's milk. She'll eat it, but don't ask her to enjoy it!

This is my camo dress that daddy bought for me, I like to wear it to church.
